rather unexciting...
one thing is curious, though: the lens construction of the new 16-50mm is identical to the old one, but it has better close-focus capabilities (15 vs 30cm on the wide end, 35 vs 40cm on the tele end)

For $549 USD with lens, this is a pretty nice camera.
