Two ladies from the UK are staying with us and as I was showing them my photography room one of them looked at the shot below with the green cabinet.
She said “Oh, who is the collector?â€.
Ouch!!
I guess she didn’t notice the rest of the room.

"zoom" is the name of all lens

One semi-insult me and our gf always hear when we're outside with the Rolleicord is someone seeing the camera and saying (either to us or to their friends nearby) "my grandfather had a camera just like that, I think we still have that in the attic."
Your grandfather probably had a Lubitel 2. It's not just like that.

How old is Lubitel?
First was made 1950.Maybe the grandfather did HAVE a Rolleicord (introduced in 1933). Or even a Rolleiflex (1929)? Cycling through Wales in the 90s, when a lot of factories and coal pits got closed down, I could see all kinds of Rolleis collecting dust in the second hand windows.

I remember the old Lubitel......at that time it was £7-8 new......probably the best IQ for the buck out there!
I inherited my grandfathers Rollieflex...an early one with uncoated optics....then my mothers house caught fire....
