New Oly 40-150 f/2.8 coming - Klaus - 08-30-2013

I suspect that the Oly 7-14mm will work nicely on the E-M1 ...

Yea; actually I think the 50-200 would work well on the EM-1; will be interesting to see how the 50-150 compares to the 50-200.

You think the Oly 7-14 is better than the Pana 7-14? Anyhow, the E-M1 may provide an opportunity for those who invested in a dead system, Four-Thirds that is, to stick their heavy lens gear on a modern cam body. At the same time they are punished once more if Oly charges the rumored price of 1500 Euros for the E-M1. The Four-Thirds crowd is really in for some fun these days. I wonder how the old Zuiko stuff copes with the higher pixel densities in the MFT world?

The 'old' Zuikos ? They are hardly old I'd say. The Oly 7-14 is supposed to be the best ultra-wide zoom there is.

I agree that the E-M1 price is way too high if those 1500EUR are valid. It is barely superior to the E-M5.
