   Ah another Kickstart.. I think the original looks way better....I can't find the actual price, but it's obviously not cheap!

 

  Why not go for the Helios 40 85mm F1.5?.....new they are going for around $400 some at $305.....

 

             ..if swirly bokeh is your bag it's a no brainer.......and it's built like the T34!

I'm wondering what people like in these swirly bokehs - to me this just looks distracting.

It may be nice as a "novelty" for a few shots but - been there done that - it surely wears off very soon. At least in my book.

  Exactly!  it also encourages the bad habit of putting heads/faces in the center of the image, as per several of the images shown.
