Zeiss 24 - request for providing one is out there. I will not buy this one though.

Sony 20 - will buy it.

Why do I have to purchase a lens for 900EUR just to prove a point ?

You don't, but on the other hand why did you use the worst possible lens (16/f2.8) to test the NEX-6 vs NEX-7?  A crappy lens will be a crappy lens, whatever sensor you use. 

 

If the NEX-6 can cope with wide-angle lenses (or any lens for that matter) better than the NEX-7 because of better sensor design/implementation, then surely you are only limiting the results when using a lens that is widely known to have poor edge/corner performance at wide apertures.
