If the optic is good enough and the price reasonably low, this couls be the next thiung going in front of my camera!

If this holds the quality we're used to from Samyang, it will be a killer. I'll definitely be interested in this. And it's f/2.8. Aurora lens for sure!

I always told them to develop something like this ...

Apparently you were not alone:

http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/928.htm

However, I think the usefulness of this lens (the coming Samyang, not the speculated Nikon of course <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />) over Tokina 11-16 seems debatable to me. No AF, no filters and no zoom, however limited.

To be precise - I suggested a 10mm f/4 pancake.

maybe the pancake will come for the mirror-less cameras (EOS-M, m43, Samsung), less retrodesign required.

There's also the Sigma 10-20/3.5 to consider. Zoom range is larger than the Tokina and manages to equal the Samyang at the wide end. Price is a bit lower than the Tokina, mainly due to slightly slower maximum aperture. Only catch - it's a Sigma. There's always the risk of it not working on your next body. This is not usually an issue with Tokina (and Tamron for that matter). Not sure why.

Still not possible, I am quite sure... 10mm is really quite a lot shorter than for instance 16mm... So a lot more refraction needed. And a lot of CA to correct...

If the lens is (much) better corrected than the 14mm Samyang, this is a very interesting prime.

well, Pentax has a pancake 21mm lens for a regular mount (45mm), so perhaps a decently small 10mm is possible with about 20mm flange distance. Ok, the IQ at borders of the Pentax 21mm is not great, and 10mm is a rather wide angle.

And Voigtlander has the 20mm f3.5 pancake too.
