With small lenses, like some of the primes, the Nex-7 makes more sense. But I prefer the concept of the Fuji in just about every way. Not just compact and kinda silly, but compact and kinda nice. [/quote] Funnily I just enjoyed the "toy" ergonomics on the NEX7 during a test. Just about perfect IMHO. Two dials just at your right thumb with an AE lock button underneath. Looking at the X-Pro an obvious handling flaw is, for instance, the top dial for shutter speed. You just cannot use this blindly without -really silly- finger acrobatics. This may be a classical setup but that's certainly far from the optimum. The hybrid viewfinder approach is also pretty useless - the optical part works out only in the standard range and then without focus feedback at all. Beyond that you have to rely on the EVF anyway. I'm pretty sure that I will use it in EVF mode only once it's here. Fuji X-Pro 1 micro site - Guest - 01-10-2012 Those are properties of the mount/lens coupling ? - I wonder if the fuji evf will work as well as the nex's. Anyways - time shall tell. Folks who have been playing with the nex-7 and comparing it to the 5dmk2 have complained that the colour gradiation is not as nice and the 24f1.8 has too much ca; so the fuji might win in those departments.
