It's not our typical camera gear website, but anyway:

Apparently, balloon flights are the new and fashionable style to do camera tests, aren't they?

There even seems to be a kind of hot spot for NEX-7 balloon flight tests.

We are moving away from camera tests.

The bitter truth is that many other review sites receive prototypes for testing so they are able to release a review straight at the date of availability.

We purchase the cameras and it takes 2-3 months to test it. After 2-3 months nobody is really interested anymore in test #20something.

These are the first non-comercial images of the body I've seen... And I must say the minmalist design looks very tempting. It looks rigit. The non-curved edges, shape and placement of the dials and before all, the black color... It could be a tad larger (slim again but wider maybe) for my taste. And the Zeiss lens (even with the hood on) does not look so much unbalanced on the body. Though, I still think that such slim/small bodies with APS-C sensors + bulky lenses are one of the major drawbacks of these systems. I believe m4/3 is still the king in this regard...

And regarding the images, I'm still on the side who waits for the first stable firmware equipped Nex-7 + the appropiate raw converter.
