Sony reviving APS-C - Klaus - 08-28-2019 https://www.sonyalpharumors.com/sr5-leaked-images-and-specs-of-thenew-sony-a6100-and-a6600-and-lenses/ RE: Sony reviving APS-C - stoppingdown - 08-28-2019 Given that a couple of years ago many said that Sony APS-C line wouldn't be developed... Of course the interesting thing will be prices. Too bad the a6100 EVF is not XGA... RE: Sony reviving APS-C - Klaus - 08-28-2019 The 70-350G is a nice idea. Doesn't seem to be as brick-like as the Fuji 100-400mm. RE: Sony reviving APS-C - Rover - 08-28-2019 Looks like Sony is in the full Santa mode for those who had given up all hope... First the (much clamored for) 35/1.8 and then this. Granted, since many people only care about FF this 16-55/2.8 isn't such a legendary unicorn like that 35, but I remember there was much moaning about how Sony must provide this lens ("or else"). Depends on how much wider the FOV gets at MFD, if this design is a better idea than that Fuji? If it is like the Canon EF 70-300mm L, I'd pass. |
