RE: climbing obsession - Klaus - 10-27-2019 Uluru is part of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Owned by the indigenous people but leased to the Government. Australia has no autonomous reservations. However, the "Aboriginal Land Rights Act" granted rights to large areas to the indigenous people. They can, of course, prohibit access to these areas. Anyway, the decision about Uluru is final.
