Odd focal length... 58mm was something from the early SLR days, as fast 58mm was easier to design with the knowledge they had back then than 50mm. That 58mm shrunk to 55mm and then to 50mm later on, only Nikon continued with 58mm (f1.2, f1.4, f0.95) for nostalgic reasons.
So, that makes this 58mm f1.6 FF equivalent also a bit of an oddity. Judging from the sample images, it renders pretty nicely. Quite hefty though, with its 703g. .

29mm, now that's almost the last possible focal length filled out, at least below 50mm. Maybe 26mm and 47mm remain untried. Smile

It's hard to understand this lineup but then this is the 7th Nokton incarnation so they seem to be commercially viable.

I'm surprised that they haven't released an R/Z mount lenses. Ok, the E-mount versions have electronic coupling but even without they could be interesting for R/Z-users.

And they figured out electronic coupling for EF/F mount, so they could even use those protocols for R/Z mount?

The "stone age" companies are odd. Now they do electronic coupling, now they don't - see Laowa for example, I think they've implemented it for a couple of lenses but not the rest, even for the same mounts.
