So far my experiences with the copy I have, have been incredibly positive! Yes, wide-open at its widest setting @16mm the corners are not that sharp and suck, like 99% of the lenses out there. By f.5.6 its fine. Zoomed out to 80mm it is a touch soft. But @75mm, and again @5.6 its actually amazingly sharp? In its mid ranges, this lens is razor sharp. Its been a great, practical travel lens. I'm glad I purchased it. |
