I pick the Z9 as I have been using one over a year and have really appreciated the firmware strategy of Nikon. Any shortcomings I have with AF is very likely user error.

I also like the Nikon Z9 because it marks a big step forward in Nikon's camera development in terms of design, image sensor, Viewfinder and screen, Autofocus and subject recognition, Video recording capabilities are also top notch, Image stabilization is also extremely good.
