hello to you all,
seems the new sigma is getting quite a lot of waves,
but I guess it will be not the first, ...neither the last one,
the purpuse is,
as the most 50's, they should be disigned as a standard lens(on full frame),
as such it should be "capable "in most situations ( without excelling)
a bit like we have today the monstruous 16-300 of tamron,
but in another way ;-)
as I use it on ap-c, it's more a portait lens than something else,
but I have the benefits of the lens being a "standard lens"
meaning usable in most situations,
low light, portrait, sports, ...
I know in my situation , this is not quiet strait,
as I should compare my lens with the 85mm1.8 (on full frame)
but many of ap-c shooters use this lens that way,
my favorite lens (canon 50mm 1.4) IMHO, anyway,
is this lens really beating the big boy's?
my main concern, is auto-focus in sport/low-light situations,
but an inprovement of the poor countre-light performation,
would surely be nice...
kr,
couplos
