Hello Fellow Photozoners,



Just wondering, will the Canon EOS 5D II be discontinued quickly when the EOS 5D III enters the market or will both camera's be sold side by side for a while? I hope(d) the price of the 5D would go down now the 5D III is announced, but so far nothing yet. I have already seen several store where the 5D II is out of stock. Just coincedence or not?



Any thoughts on my questions?

It is being replaced, it will not be continued for a longer time alongside the new one. The price of the 5D mk II has gone very low already anyway... They are around 1800 euros in the Netherlands, compared to 3500 euros for the mk III.
