I needed that one.

It's awesome that Markus managed to post a review in the meantime.
I reckon that I should have one ready in a week or so.

Welcome back!

Where did you go and what gear did you take with you this time around?

Well, it wasn't really a photo-centric trip this time. We visited South-Western-Australia - thus the region south of Perth with a bit of scuba diving, hiking and visiting vineyards.
I took the Olympus E-M5II with the 12-100mm f/4 PRO again. I will post a few snapshots in a couple of days.

Do you find the 12-100 awkwardly large or does it balance out ?

Well, IMHO the 12-100mm PRO is good enough for fulfilling high-end demands. From there on it's a question which other lenses offer a similar versatility in a smaller package. There are none.
Of course, you can always complain that it is too big but you either have to settle for less range or less quality with other options.

The combo fits perfectly into my small colt bag (Crumpler Jimmy Bo) - alongside with my purse - which is ideal for the city or short hikes.

I'd only complain about it being too slow.
