Super interesting lens albeit this review took me the tripple effort of a "normal" one.

I can't understand: Laowa is already perfectly capable of making AF lenses, as shown by the (excellent) 10mm f/2.8 that I have. Okay, I'm not asking for AF in a T/S lens, but why is camera-controlled aperture and EXIF suddenly something exotic for them again?
True. I don't think the EXIF chip it would have a real impact on price, given it's not a cheap thing.

Controlling the aperture - which isn't in the rear - is probably tricky in a TS lens. But it shouldn't be impossible either.

With lever-actuated mechanism, yeah, it's well-nigh impossible (that's why Nikon had to come up with E lenses in the first place). But both they and Canon managed it just fine, just have to take an extra precaution to make the cable more resistant to twisting motions. :-)
I was referring at least to a very simple chip identifying the lens. When you run a session with many photos and multiple manual lenses it's easy to forget what you used for what. At least, I do.
