Reinier,

I would do the following:

Try saving several files (20MB, 50MB, and 200MB) on your OCZ drive as a test. If you like the speed improvement go for upgrade, if not, just keep going with you existing HDD until it is time to do major system upgrade.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the late reply, but I have been testing my computer. The last couple of days it seems fine with the saving speed.

Maybe the problem is due to having more than one programs running simultaneously and having multiple files open at once and that this will slow the computer down considerably. But when I now open a 200mb file and save process it in Photoshop CS5 and then save it to another folder, then it is the writing/saving speed is fast.

I tend to work with Lightroom and Photoshop simultaneously and often even a third program as well. It makes sense the computer is slowing down in these instances.

So perhaps the problem is clear. What do you think?

Kind regards,

Reinier
