You used 1/30 sec in the church (apparently without tripod, I see motion blurr). And wide open aperture. And high ISO. So, the pictures should not look that good like they actually are looking Smile

Nonetheless, a week ago I pointed camera and lens upwards and managed to get a really horrible series of flares in one picture, I was surprised.

pointing the lens upwards, f/22 and 14 mm is also collecting flares - even at little dust particles, I'm a afraid:
