yongnuo is joining the club, in what seems like an android mobile with a lens mount.
the idea seems awesome.
but it's a yongnuo so expect a poor MFT sensor with poor autofocus nevertheless the concept is great

Samsung tried that idea back in the days. Didn't work out.

It's not about a camera running on android but a true fully functional pocketable mobile phone that can take when needed SLR lenses

That makes no sense. "a pocketable mobile phone" with a lens mounted on it? Why? It does not make it pocketable, and if the phone is pocketable it will have a tiny sensor, and then different lenses make no sense. Just give it a folded(angle) zoom lens and be done with it.
But no, toni. It looks like a camera, with android running on it. Not like a mobile phone.
It almost looks as if they are using an EF mount.
Anyway, this will be doomed. Even if this is a real thing, it'll fail. You just can't create a camera with a tiny team.
The software obstacles would just kill them
