I'm afraid it may vary from copy to copy.
Ok. In that case, to save my sanity, I think I'll continue to ignore distance dependency in reviews <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

Ah, ok, I was wondering already <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />. However, one wouldn't expect that with an expensive Leica lens...

Nope, nor that they would need 3 attempts to fix it. Apart from that, the service has been outstanding, though.

Maybe with some sample photographs to show the difference, including where they appear? Maybe also some for PF as well, as that is a different beast altogether too <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />.

Yep, sounds good. I'll put it on the to-do list <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Thanks, Basil! Don't worry, we prepared for a lot more than this. I was actually slightly disappointed that there have been no yellow dressed Ninja's in my wardrobe this morning ...

Ouch, not as good as I would have expected.
It's not as good as many (myself included) would have expected. This test is undoubtedly the reason for Nikon to release it's replacement so soon. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Yes, this is good news. I'm more excited about the 24-120 VR, though.

3 of the new lenses available on September 2nd already. That will be a busy month.

Yes, but 60D, 1Ds4 and big white lenses updates are not very interesting AFAIAC. Maybe MFT will come out with something interesting.
