My bet is, before 2021 no one will be able to buy it and with Panasonics sensor math (S1 96MP, S1R 187 MP) and bodies available this April, it already is a low-res story and will highly depend on Foveon haters like you to keep up the memory of a nice idea  Honestly, I would not be surprised if it gets cancelled over the years...

However, a more interesting bet will be: who makes it first to market? Sigma's FF Foveon with the usual delay of 1-2 years or Pentax 85/1.4 (https://www.dpreview.com/articles/0215547449/cp-2019-a-look-at-the-pentax-85mm-f1-4-and-kp-custom) ? This could become a close call.
