I actually prefer 75mm on the X mount which is approx 112; as oppose to 90 which is 135. While I used a 135 for a couple of years in the old contax system; i never grew to love the focal length as I frequently found it a bit long and the compression factor a bit too much.

Gigantic? What is the filter thread size anyway?

Looking at images including the mount, it might not be that gigantic in the end... maybe some really tiny hands holding it in the images add to the impression.

Anyway, curious how this will perform. I wish it was a full-frame lens and they'd offer it for other mounts, too. But likely not gigantic enough to cover an FX sensor
