It does look cool! But, I wonder how practical it would actually be. My favorite selling point was that it "brings an advantage that you can know intuitively if the lens cap is open or not.". I always thought that looking through the viewfinder and seeing blackness was pretty intuitive. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' />

I think I'd buy one immediately. Lens caps drive me nuts (given today's cap quality) and I'm basically never taking a hood because it just too bulky and cumbersome to use (which is why I'm loving telescope-style lens hoods).

That is a one very usefull accessory... Very practical, but would be annoying if someday the flower decides not to open <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />...



Does it say somewhere, for which FLs can it be used?
