Almost all A-mount SLRs released in the last 20 years support wirelss TTL flash control using the built in flash. Minolta did it years before anyone else.

Edit: According to other leaked pictures (with view of the pentaprism), the A77 does have a built-in flash.

SAR have now rated the leaked images as SR5 (almost certain real).

I can't remember what button is where any more in Sony layout, but there's a button on the upper left front (as if you're holding the camera) which might be a flash release button. And there does appear to be a line above the front logo which is where a pop-up flash would be.

I'll be counting the days until we see some sensor performance results. Also curious about the VF and AF...

Oh, and why is the grip so much large? It's almost half of the body...

The A77 and NEX-7 look really promising. They'll probably create quite a stir in the market. I can't wait for the A99 and NEX-9. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I'm extremely interested in the high FPS of the a77, but if it shares the same buffer clearing trait or lack there of (as the a55), my curiosity will be short lived.

And the lack of AF with the high FPS like the A55v?

A55 does have AF with 10 fps. And A77 has a new AF system.

That is good, to see that they banned most of the info out of the EVF frame. At least one big downside from the A33/A55v's EVF gone. Kudos to Sony for that.

Sorry, somehow confused it with the D3 of all things, with its high speed APS-C mode.

Tha A55v's vice in high FPS is that you have no control over the settings (aperture/exposure time).
