Thanks for your reply. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
One question from me. What RAW-converter do you usually use for testing Sony/Minolta cameras and lenses?

Various. :-)
A900/A850: CaptureOne 5
A700: LR 1.3
NEX-5: Sony Converter
You may, of course, ask why. Usually we evaluate the different options at the time a system emerges and choose the "best" one regardless of the software brand.
Please note that e.g.
ACR 2
ACR 3
ACR 4
ACR 5
...
will all give you different results because of algorithm fine-tuning over time (and even within major versions) so sticking just to a manufacturer is an absolutely meaningless approach. It is also impossible to stick to -say- ACR 5 and converter everthing via DNG because the different DNG converters will already alter the RAWs.
At the end there is only one conclusion - things are simply not cross-test-system comparable. Neither here not at any other review site (although most of the other sites will not mention this as openly).
