Dear PZ
I tested Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 16-35mm f/2.8 ZA SSM (Sony SAL-1635Z) on Sony A850 but got a big difference to your result, http://www.opticallimits.com/sonyalphaff/495-zeiss_1635_28ff?start=1
My testing environment:
Dark room, 1000 lux, 5000 K
Camera settings: standard, contrast+0, saturation+0, sharpness+0, brightness+0, DR: off
Image settings: JPG (fine), ISO 200
Shot on a tripod, AS: off, self-timer: 2 seconds
I've read your description on your website "All PZ sample images are taken as RAW files and converted via Photoshop ACR (default settings without automatic image correction and contrast set to 0)".
But when I analysed with RAW file or RAW converted with Photoshop CS5, the results are quite the same as the JPG file.
The other main difference is that I used a SFR chart as http://store.imatest.com/catalog/product/view/id/180/s/skype-certification-image-quality-test-charts/ with 10:1 contrast ratio.
Could you please give me some comments if you are available ? Very appreciate your help, thanks!
BR, Hinoki
