Dear photozone-team,
I've just registered on your forum because I was curious about what equipment you are using personally.
As I really appreciate your purely objective lens tests I'm really interested in subjective real life scenarios, too.
The little teaser in your Panasonic 12-35mm lens test verdict managed to wetten my appetite for these more subjective opinions:
So what equipment are you using for your private photography?

As far as the PZ team is concerned:
Me (Klaus): mostly Fuji, sometimes Sony NEX or MFT. Historically I came from the Canon side and later Sony Alpha.
Sebastian: MFT, formerly Sony Alpha
Markus: Nikon DSLR & Leica

Regarding lenses?
(I came from Nikon and use mostly MFT now. I've bought an OMD EM-5 and I'm really impressed so far. I've tried the combo OM-D+PL 25 1.4 vs. Nikon D90+35 1.8 DX. To my surprise OM-D was better. Even for wide angle the 9-18 was better than my Nikon 10-24 on the D90. I know comparison between different systems is not very "scientific" but what counts ultimately is handling and image quality which can be compared between systems. That's why I am so highly interested in you subjective opinions.)

Even so, I wouldn't buy most of them for myself due to my own real life preferences (=thus a combination of low size/weight and performance).

Thank you!
Looking forward to see the favorites of the rest of your team!
For those interested:
My personal favorites are (mounted on Nikon D90 and Olympus OM-D EM-5):
Nikon AF-S18-105G VR (great versality, image quality good enough, great value; still waiting for a similar lens for m43)
Nikon AF-S 105 2.8G VR (great build and image quality)
PanaLeica 25 1.4 (much better than my formerly standard lens Nikon AF-S 35 1.8G, great for indoor photography)
Olympus 45 1.8 (even wide open excellent and pretty portable for the unforeseen portraiture opportunity)

I have somehow skipped that paragraph.
So was this list a mere objective list whit the technicaly best lenses you have tested so far?
I would be much more interested in the lenses you would buy considering all factors (size, weight, performance, built, price).
