Never used a Leica lens. It is said that Leica lenses are optimaized to have the best perforemance at the largest aperture---seems not true looking at the MTF chart.

Nice to see the first Leica test and quite impressive results, too. I guess Leica's reputation is (at least partly) justifiable after all...  Wink

Great to see something totally out of left field. One suggestion though: can you remove the Price/Performance position from the Leica tests as utterly irrelevant? Smile

Well, the P/P rating will be more relevant (and receive higher ratings) once we get to 3rd party lenses Wink

Nice lens, it seems it's only real fault is the RSAs which changes the focus point quite significantly, enough to slightly miss-focus at F5.6 maybe?
