Oh, that lens renders quite nicely... I was worried about that when I saw the 1st samples. Nice!

Has anyone actually manage to make a horrible 90-100mm macro ? There seems to be so many wonderful lenses in this focal length from the ancient vivtar series 1 90f2.5 to the voigtlander 125mm (ok a bit longer); canon 100mm is; nikon 105 and numerous tokina/tamron 90-105's over the years.

Any plans to retest the old one on 50D/5D Mark II, for comparison's sake?..

... Probably not. But I had to ask. Smile

I'd send my copy to Klaus, but he moved a lil far away.  B)

Yeah, that's the trouble - I'm not sure there's a lot of PZ readers down under willing to send their stuff in.

Well, we can still have hope for the Nikon realm...

It would surprise me if Tamron keeps 2 90mm lenses in their lineup.

PS: I could rent it.

Would be nice. Wonder if there's a lot of lenses coming your way? Especially some out of left field?

The problem is that I've tested the old T90 a zillion times on various systems and it's going to be deprecated for sure.

There have been some Aussie fellows willing to provide lenses albeit the ratio is certainly lower than back in Germany. The commercial rental options are somewhat better here.
