Well, I'm sure this was meant to be something special. Made out of titan (not just covered with it), designed in cooperation with Walter de Silva, head of Volkswagen design group (and the guy who initially brought design back to Alfa Romeo with the 156).
Doesn't work for me:

Not that we need to care ... it's a limited edition, 500 kits including a dedicated Titan lens (Summilux 35/1.4 ASPH), 22.000 EUR each. *cough*

Well, it seems we are back to collectors editions again. There is one new thing here however, apart from the fallback to old, rounded designs: it has a led for illumination of the viewfinder lens frames, rather than a separate window to catch any available light to do so. This means that you can still see the lens frames well after you can't see anything at all through the viewfinder anymore <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />. However, personally I don't think that that and the titan body is worth an additional 13000 euros or so. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Kind regards, Wim
Gear: Canon EOS R with 3 primes and 2 zooms, 4 EF-R adapters, Canon EOS 5 (analog), 9 Canon EF primes, a lone Canon EF zoom, 2 extenders, 2 converters, tubes; Olympus OM-D 1 Mk II & Pen F with 12 primes, 6 zooms, and 3 Metabones EF-MFT adapters ....
I still think the M4 chrome (non 2 or P) is the nicest looking, followed by the M2.
Concerning that one, it looks like "more money than taste" to me. Now I better shut up with what it really reminds me to, to avoid getting in trouble with Klaus.

I mean, the price would disqualify this camera for me anyway ... but even
if I disregard the price for a moment ... compared to the Fuji X100 that we
just discussed in the neighbour-thread, I would rather prefer the Fuji!
Just my 2cts...Rainer

Ick. Looks like something out of a 1970s sci-fi show. For 22K EUR? Ahahaha.

Doesn't look too bad, but nothing special either - I prefer the retro look of the Fuji mentioned above.
One thing I don't get is this: what idiots 'collect' expensive gadgets like this? I mean, in a few years it'll be technologically obsolete.
