I cannot believe on it. Who Is going to pay such amount of money every year. According to this site the big contributors are consumers and hobbist.

$1 is enough for doing nothing.

$10 a month = 1 cup of coffee in a café once a week.

I make that cup at home so I use the $10 to get Photoshop CC.

If you are serious about photography, you need both Lightroom AND Photoshop.

As good as Lightroom is there are things that you just need Photoshop for.

Yes, I know you can get Gimp for free but I thought that I would go insane using this product.

Is it more popular or are they just making more money doing it this way?

I fail to see how $120/yr is a good deal. I certainly plan on keeping and using the same software (with appropriate updates) for more than four years. Especially if Adobe is most likely to raise the rental fee within a years time.

Well, how much does it cost you in car, house and health insurance per year?

A lot more than $120/yr, right?

For this, how much "enjoyment" do you get in return?

I use Photoshop CC almost everyday. It may not necessarily be enjoyable but for me it's a pretty good deal compared to other things I spend $120 a year on.
