Your right but what I meant is high ISO which I kind of think it will be about the same.
It will be interesting, but I have serious doubts the 7D will be able comparable to the K-5.
just to add the pricing from here in Slovakia, these are prices from the official distributor´s "Pentax friends club" : K5 body only 1199 €, K5+18-55WR 1299 €, K5+18-55WR+50-200WR 1449€, K5+18-135WR 1699 €, K5+16-45 1474 €, K5+16-50 2022 €, K5+17-70 1669 €, K5+16-50+50-135 2949 €
price of most of the lens has got higher, surprizingly the 18-55 II is no longer listed
