Klaus, what is you gut feeling about the 11mm and the 15mm?
The first review of the 15mm seems very promising (on 24mp).
Honestly 11mm is too extreme in my book. Just because things can be done, doesn't mean that they make sense.

But the Canon 11-24 is already KVLT. This one has no AF, so it's appeal is more limited however...
I haven't used anything wider than 16mm.
I am interested in the 15mm model as it offers less distortion and less vignetting. Plus the price is reasonable.
No one commented so far on the weather sealing of the lens.
Besides Sigma no one of the independent producers has attacked near 20mm focal length yet.
I don't count Zei$$ for obvious reason.

Laowa has a 15mm f/4 macro shift (no idea about its performance - I would hesitate here ...)
And there is, of course, the Samyang 14mm.
I thought about these too, but going forward I am interested in weather sealed lenses. Last spring I went to the desert for pictures with Tokina 16-28 and now there is sand between the focus ring and the barrel of the lens. It looks like I have to send it for cleaning.
Everything else held fine, including the front element.
