Please - no ultra-tele lenses :-)

I reckon Nikon Z?

Anything else that you'd see as high priority?

In the Sigma corner, I miss 105/1.4, 28/1.4 and if you want to ask again in the conclusion "what's the point of such a brick?" (I have no answer to that this time) as well the 40/1.4.

Or the 16/1.4 and 56/1.4 for Sony APS-C? Would be interesting how they compare to the excellent Fujinons.

Nikkor Z? I don't think you would add more information to what I already know about "high resolution, but poor distortion correction optically" and I haven't found a standpoint wether I like that or not, I think it all comes down to the question "distortion correction before light hits the sensor or afterwards?" and "you want light weight and small size? Then you have to be fine with software correction."

Fujinon 8-16?

I have no preference, my lens stock is overcrowded.

Canon RF 28-70mm f2 L USM ;-)
Canon RF 35mm f1.8 STM Macro
Canon RF 85mm f1.2 L USM
Nikkor Z 50mm f1.8 S
Nikkor Z 35mm f1.8 S
Nikkor Z 24-70mm f2.8 S
Sony 135mm f1.8 GM
Sony FE 85mm f1.8
Sony FE 28mm f2
Canon EF-M 32mm f1.4 STM
Canon EF-M 28mm f3.5 IS STM Macro
Canon EF-S 35mm f2.8 IS STM Macro
Tamron 70-210mm f4 Di VC USD
Tamron 17-35mm f2.8-4 Di OSD
Zeiss Milvus 85mm f1.4
Zeiss Milvus 50mm f1.4

And if you are feeling very adventurous:
Canon TS-E 50mm f2.8 L Macro
Canon TS-E 90mm f2.8 L Macro
Canon TS-E 135mm f2.8 Macro
Nikkor PC-E 19mm f4
Samyang TS 24mm f3.5 ED
(Canon TS-E 17mm f4 on 50mp)
(Canon TS-E 24mm f3.5 L on 50mp)

You could of course wait with the TS-E lenses till a new Canon EF or RF camera with higher MP sensor appears, and do likewise with the Nikkor PC-E 19/24/45/85 range when a higher res. Nikon appears.

I personally wouldn't want tests of nikon z; though that might be the more popular choice (no clue here if it is selling well). I've always favored canon over nikon in usa because nikon usa is very anti-consumer and canon has always been very helpful. Personally i'm not taking many pictures but when I do i use fuji or olympus right now. Moved recently and there is a nice park with wildlife (blue hearings; owls and an occasional eagle - too many turtles and once in a blue moon a beaver that forgets the sun is up) so been thinking about a moderately long tele - not sure if is should get one for fuji/olympus or pick up a canon with a single lens. hum. so tests for that would be nice Wink

Been unimpressed with most fuji/olympus offerings at the long end.

Personally, I would like to see some MFT tests: Sigma 56, Panaleicas 12 and 50-200. Oly fast primes would be nice to see as well.

On Sony, GM 24/1.4. And Z and RF lenses would be interesting for some, I reckon.

Well, it shouldn't be a list of lenses that are "missing" ;-)
The intent was to get an idea about untested lenses that are "important".

e.g I wouldn't say that a 70-200/4 or the Zeiss Milvus do qualify here.

People on forums are constantly asking whether the shorter registration distances of the new ML lenses are actually sharper/ better ..... (Canon/Nikon)

.......the lenses are more expensive than those they replace ..... so there's a ...... Why?

For the minute there are few written reviews of the Z lenses .... so from a lens testing site's standpoint, the results will be sought out ....

........ the Nikkor AF-S 50mm F1.8 S has only seen a DXO review ...... most haven't seen that .....

....... all official reviews of these ML camera lenses will be well attended .......
