A manual focus 26mm f/8 for $200 USD ?
I think the S9 is alright - probably a bit better than the Sigma FP-L. Whether it can compete with Sony ... well ... but I reckon I'm not the target audience.

It looks very similar to the Sony a7c in both size, weight and price. Probably an identical sensor. The Sony does have a viewfinder, which I prefer. Both are on par in size with the current mft offerings. Of course, lenses will be bigger.
I'm not sure the target audience for a 26mm fixed F8 manual focus lens? I thought a fixed f8 was only found in mirrored super-teles.
Much fun was had while reading this announcement and the comments on DPReview.
The camera received a lot of criticism but I think that's undeserved.
It's meant for mainstream YTers and they set it to 4k/30, and that's the end of the story for them. Whereas the reviewers expect pro specs - which I think is unfair.

I agree, but still I don't understand how it will compete with the A7cII — with the exception of the LUT button, which I suppose will be really appreciated by YTers.
