We went to Hiroshima, Shikoku Island (most of the trip) and Kanazawa.

Beautiful as ever, Klaus, especially the temples and temple gardens (in my opinion).
Only one shot from the 70-200 though? Smile

Yeah, I also expected to use it more, but I didn't see many opportunities.
Japan is a very humid country with lots of haze - so long-distance shots to compress a scene aren't usually worth it - and for the rest, the 20-70mm was sufficient.
I do have more shots taken with the 70-200 in my stock, but they were a bit ... uninspired.

As mentioned, I will probably sell it.

I hope that doesn't leave you without a tele lens altogether? Smile
Of course everyone is different, for me the 16-35 + 100-400 combo is the go-to two-lens setup.
I've learned about heat haze the hard way though - last October, when visiting Primorye I've shot a lot of beautiful shots over the sea when venturing to a distant island... Or, to be precise, they would have been beautiful but ended up right in the Recycled Bin because upon close examination, all were ruined by the haze over the sea. Smile Never had it nearly as bad before in all 20+ years of shooting the various stuff.
