Resolution seems to be good straight from max aperture. It's a pity it doesn't have AF <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':angry:' />

Maybe it's bad weather, but for me they look rather mediocre. Lack of clarity, contrast, colors muted and that's on D3x. Yes, resolution seems sufficient, and it would be interesting to look at well PP images.

I am addicted to Pentax and I know why <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />. I can see the difference but not sure can it justify price difference. I saw much better photos with Nikkor than these published on lenstip, but it is nice they did on similar weather both. Well, time will show.

That's quick <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />. On the other hand, I can hardly imagine myself using such a big and heavy prime on APS-C, or it should be very very good.
