Maybe some people are thinking about using this lens for nightshots without tripod. To me that was one reason to buy it last October. I'm still very pleased with it. I don't know if you plan to add some lowlight shots. If so, please feel free to delete the link to some of my samples: http://sojujo.smugmug.com/Testshots/Sigma-183518/


As said in another thread, the lens wide open is demanding for the camera's AF system and for the photographer's skills as well. It takes a bit training and patience to get the sharpness on spot at open aperture and lowlight conditions - but this goes for every other fast lens as well. The thing is only, at wide open + wide angle it can be tricky to place the AF point.


I'm looking forward to the test results.
