No issues as far as I can tell. Faster than the A700. About as fast as the A33.

Um, ya, nice lenses. But with that adapter size, I fail to see the point of using a mirrorless body in the first place...?

It's still more light weight and smaller than a DSLR setup ...

Balance is more important than just Weight.

Seems very front heavy with the big glass. Is that the case?

Pentax K5 with 2 pancakes is not more weighty than NEX7 + LA-EA2 + two primes

In principle I agree with that... It seems that the balance is way off. But the impression of Klaus is important with that regard, as he is experiencing it.

I personally see no reasons to choose such kind of a setup compared to a DSLR with the same lens.

NEX 7 + LA-EA 2 = 429g

K5: 670g

As for the lenses - the Pentax pancakes are slow(er) than their typical Sony counterparts so they are of course more light weight ... and less capable in terms of DOF.

If it helps I'm considering to go for the FA 77 via adapter. ;-)

The ZA 16-80 and ZA 85 are not front heavy in my view. I don't know how others approach it but my left hand is supporting the setup from under the lens. As such I don't see any issues with comparatively short or light-weight lenses. I wouldn't use a 70-400 or 300/2.8 on it but then this doesn't make sense anyway. The 70-300G is still fine from my perspective.

But this is me.
