I think they might make that 85mm an f1.2, just like they did with the 50mm. Would be interesting (and of course, expensive).

The 28mm small lens makes a lot of sense (classic street photography) and the 40mm kinda too.

The 200-600 is not in the S series?

The AF-S 200-500mm f5.6 VR is also a "cheap" lens. Very good though, but nit silly expensive as the new Canon RF tele zoom. So I guess this new Z lens will be a similar idea.

Seems everyone but Sony abandoned the once popular 135mm

Only a bit over 2 years ago, Canon introduced the TS-E 135mm f4 Macro. That there is no 135mm yet for RF just means the priorities to fill in the lens line up are different for now...

Sigma has a fairly new 135mm f/1.8 - albeit just for DSLRs.

I think 135mm is either too short or too long for mainstream purposes.

Nikon has a fairly new 135mm f1.8 too, btw. A bit newer than that Sigma. And the 135mm from Zeiss and Samyang are not that old either. It remains an important segment, albeit it takes a back seat behind the 50mm and 85mm lenses.

Uhmm, confused it with the fairly new 105mm f1.4. :-D
