Not if you formulate it like that.
I am saying, in order to get the same field of view and DOF, you shoot with equivalent focal length and f-value.
In order to get the same exposure/histogram, you then shoot with equivalent ISO setting to get similar exposure time.
If however you shoot both cameras with 24mm f2 (so, different field of view and different DOF) you shoot with the same ISO setting to get similar exposure times. Nothing is similar except exposure time now, where as in the above set up everything is similar.
