OK, tell me exactly what you are so enthusiastic about compared to m4/3 and NEX competition. Or in other words, what are the specific reasons for you to pick V1/J1 over GH1, NEX5 or Pen3..?

This aspec ratio thing is irrelevant in comparison with a number of "serious" flaws the Nikon mirorless solution has... which you are ignoring and not exactly adressing here in your reply ;-). OK, I may sound a bit arrogant which I dont want to, however, I can see no real justification for V1/J1 existence beside much more competitively equipped and priced Sony/Pana/Oly systems. Really :-).

Well, I would like to see the "AF miracle" here as well. If it would be able to track fast moving subject like in wildlife photography, I may admit yes, this only feature may be the reason to buy V1 over the others. This is just a speculation at this point of course, but my bets are the AF will not be any miracle in practice....

Fast lenses....yes. But only to gain light. What DOF control do you expect with 2,7 crop? Maybe just in connection with fast telephoto lens (50mm/f1.8 would behave like 135/f5 lens on FF, lol!). Every mid-telephoto, normal or even wider-angle fast prime would not enable sufficient DOF potential IMHO (which you can eqasily get with APS-C Sony NEX). 2.7 crop selection is ridiculous if Nikon mean to (and they do, according to the prices) aim at advanced amateur shooters.
