It means you can't set aperture by feel easily any more. For example, I have their 8mm fisheye and can set the aperture by moving it wide open and counting the clicks in. Handy at night when I can't see it.
Also, when you set the aperture, it will be a bit more variable. So if you need to return to *exact* settings that may be harder. In practice I don't think this would be a real problem.
