The rumors are that first a new 1Ds mk IV will appear, within a few weeks. The rumored specs (note, they are rumors):

54mp (!!), no low pass filter but a digital on/off moire reducing algorithm, decent ISO 6400 performance.



A 5D mk III will then appear later (early next year, photokina?).

Rumored specs:

24mp, auto tracking (for video) AF, pro grade AF for stills, 6 FPS, 2 stops better high ISO performance.
