Why? I'd imagine it would be akin to Hasselblad’s multi shot, only in this case you’d sacrifice resolution (1:4) instead of speed. So 48mp bayer would effectively become 12mp non-bayer, with lower chroma noise and no demosaicing artifacts (such as colour moiré).
