Better in what respect? Resolution, most probably not. Not the sharpest Leica design on the block. Does not open as wide either. Colour? Probably yes. This Leica lens produces great colours. Bokeh character? Probably yes. Even though the Nikon is the DC lens, this Leica has the most lovely background Bokeh. Probably only the Sony will beat it there. AF? No, the Nikon can AF and the Leica can not. Build quality? The Leica wins. Metering? The Nikon wins hands down. Price? The Leice is more affordable.
