Yes, almost. You can customize it that the only dangerous on-screen button left is the mode button (P,A,S,M, etc.). But this is in the upper left corner and I never touched it accidently.
By default there is an on-screen button to turn on the touch shutter. Once you touch it and keep touching the screen accidently you begin to shoot a burst of photos of things like the inside of your bag. But this can be disabled, fortunately.
