This "relatively low contrast" assessment may be slightly optimistic - the guy who described his troubles over at dpreview couldn´t properly focus on a Christmas tree, which is a pretty contrasty motif. Kind of bizarre that a cam, which is a top performer at high ISO settings, fails to focus indoors.
