I noticed just now that when you actually click on the link from mirrorless, you get the full page to be published in that french magazine.

As french happens to be my mother tongue, here are the facts you might have missed (i haven't seen reported) :



-"A sensor inspired by the film"

Resolution hasn't been given yet, fujifilm preferring to say equal or superior than 24x36. This being achieved by the following :

Thanks to a new random pattern of 6 (instead of 4 ordered Bayer pattern), they can get rid of the AA filter, thus increasing resolving power. An idea inspired by film [sylvain : here I really don't get it, frankly].



-This being matched by Fujinon XF lenses said to be exceptionnal :

metal build, *included* metal hoods, perfectly round aperture. The three rumored lenses being the first to match that X-Mount. This mount feature a very short "tirage" [I suppose they mean flange distance to sensor] of 17.7mm and a rather large diameter to allow for the back of the lens to enter the mount as deeply as 7.5mm from the sensor.



-Hybrid viewfinder like X100 adaptable focal length to match the lenses.



-A grip & flash will be available as options



-in march, a black special edition of the X100 will be released. 10 000 units. With leather pouch.
